Baolin Temple

Located in Taiping mountain in Shunde district of Foshan (China), Baolin Temple 宝林寺 was my first point of interest in Foshan to visit. Before to enter, you may get tickets in the right side of the entrance. The ticket price is about 30RMB for foreigners, and I think about 15RMB for locals.

Opening hours: 8:00 – 17:00

HOW TO GET THERE

The best way to get there is by using Didi or taxi to 宝林寺 (Baolin Rd, Shunde District) directly or also there is a bus service. The bus 311 stops right in front of the temple. Although Didi or taxi is fairly cheap in Shunde, a bus is also a good choice

EXPLORING AROUND

Once getting your ticket, crossing the main entrance and walking a while, you will find that the whole place are stairs and stairs and all straight away except for some paths along the way in both sides to walk through

On the way to the top of the temple you will have pretty nice views of its surroundings, and Buddha facing the city

And also you will find some pathways to walk through how I mentioned. Highly recommended to check all these pathways

The square located on the top next to the temple is unique with its decoration and views. Here some photos taken during my visit
